Rowe & Wadell Shingle Mill |

| While performing a siding replacement on a remodel of an early
1900's Craftsman style home located a few blocks south of the Woodland
Park Zoo in Seattle, we found several of these shingles with mill
markings still intact. Come to find out, the Shoreline Historical Museum had been searching for artifacts of the "Rowe & Wadell" shingle mill, which was located in Lake Forest Park near what is now 35th Ave. The shingle mill was in existence until 1935.
